Newport Cricket Club 25th Anniversary
In March 2010, Newport Cricket Club in its current format is celebrates its 25th anniversary. To commemorate this momentus event there will be a get together for all past and present players and supporters in the Recreation Hall on Friday March 19th from 7.30pm onwards. There will be a bar and music from 9.30pm until 12.30pm. There will also be a display of photographs, scorebooks as well as the comprehensive records of the club including the playing record of everyone of the 229 players who have appeared for the club since 1985. In addition, a short history of the club will be on sale for the first time on the night.
