Starstruck Players

We're all just a bit Starstruck!

Starstruck started off 4 years ago with Aladdin- just something for the villagers to see after the Carol service. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength with an annual summer performance and a Christmas pantomime. We endeavour to be a little bit different in style form the usual AmDram complany so we have produced Lard, Yorkshire's answer to Grease; Alice Through the Wardrobe , a less than traditional pantomime; Newport, Newport, a musical pastiche of Chicag, and rehearsals are about to begin for Snow White. With all scripts and costumes produced in house, we can guarantee that you will never have to sit through The Importance of Being Ernest.

A £10,000 lottery grant has helped us to improve the stage facilities, lighting and curtains at the village hall and all funds raised are fed back into production costs and improving the village facilities.
